An Ormoc to Pilar Ferry has capsized on 2nd July 2015
At least 36 people have died, from the 173 passengers and 16 crew, on board a Banka ferry, the MBCA Kim-Nirvana, going from Ormoc, Leyte to Pilar, Camotes Island. the Banka left Ormoc at Midday Thursday 2nd July 2015.
118 had been listed as survivors at 6pm 2nd July 2015
One report stated that huge waves had battered the vessel causing it to capsize.
