I had a look at premiums for Private Health Insurance in the Philippines today…
The first on-line quote that I found was:
Annual Premium of PHP 114,774
Total Cover of: PHP 200,000 (Maximum Benefit Limit = benefit per illness per year)
!!
My 2nd online quote was:
An Annual premium of US$5,165 (PHP206,600)
A lot more expensive, but with a Maximum plan benefit of $1,600,000 (PHP64,000,000)
Quite a large difference.
